Wash and place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage / kitchen areas and ensure that food preparation areas, facilities (washroom, dining and bar area), or equipment are kept clean. Carry out cleaning and mopping duty daily and when ad-hoc needs arise.
Ensure that all kitchen areas, equipment, washroom and outlet cleaning standards are met.
Sort and remove trash and place it in designated pickup areas at regular timing to ensure no overflowing of rubbish.
Ensure that the cleaning tools and inventory are maintained and well-stock.
Inform management with regards to deficiency or needs for repair.
Able to use all stewarding equipment safely and properly as required.
Follow all health and safety regulation.
Assist in the preparation and packing of store supplies to the respective storage area.
Able to carry other ad-hoc duty as assigned.
Job Requirements
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience;
Knowledge of cleaning and ware washing procedures will be an advantage;
Positive working attitude and good interpersonal skills required for inter-department liaison;
Able to work independently as well as in team work;
Punctuality will be required;
Able to start in short notice.
