Job summary

Reporting to the Head of Client Account Documentation, Singapore Branch, he/she will be responsible in providing assistance to the in the day-to-day management functions of the department.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

In the course of carrying out the above responsibilities, the individual would be expected to be able to independently: -

• Review clients account opening documentation to ensure compliance with local regulatory rules and internal policies
• Review clients\' profiles and make searches/enquiries to gather information for assessment of the clients
• Advise private banking managers on offshore companies/trust accounts documentation
• Check the completeness and accuracy of clients\' data entered in the bank\'s computer system
• Liaise with private banking managers to resolve account documentation discrepancies
• Represent the team in the participation of UAT projects including attending of project discussions with stakeholders, review on business requirements and prepare of UAT test plans and UAT output review, reporting on the progress of projects as well as Monitor post implementation progress to ensure smooth roll out.
• Oversee the administrative and reporting tasks of the department

To be effective and successful in this position, he/she should:-

• have a diploma or bachelor degree in Banking or a related field;
• have 3 - 5 years relevant working experience in client account opening documentation;
• knowledge of local regulatory requirements especially MAS 626 and FAA & SFA.
• be a strong team player who is strategic and yet practical, able to navigate through diverse cultures, develop and lead strategies in the face of an increasingly-regulated landscape;
• be able to trust and promote trust in team members;
• be able to advise, assist and collaborate with stakeholders from the business units in a practical, constructive and effective manner, within the ambit of the relevant regulations;
• be a strong team player who is strategic and yet practical, able to navigate through diverse cultures, and develop and lead strategies in the face of an increasingly-regulated landscape;
