The Client Finance Officer assists with perform daily settlement of invoices, credit card settlement and reconciliation, issuance of credit note and update of missing enhanced data. Additional duties include reporting, resolving customer inquiries and all related responsibilities.
Your responsibilities:
Invoice Settlement and Reconciliation

  • Perform daily invoice settlement and related issues
  • Daily Credit card submission and response
  • Daily Credit Card Reconciliation
Credit Note and refund
  • Issuance of Credit Note and refund related issues (Portal CN)
  • Process refund on BSP credit note on Bank portal and Powersuite
Billing
  • Daily billing of VCT invoices and miscellaneous items
Resolve customer inquiries
  • Research and respond to client’s email or queries
Reporting
  • Preparation of daily report (Daily raised, Missing settlement and Unbilled report)
  • Update of Missing Enhanced Data
Training:
  • Seek Knowledge Hub courses and seek opportunity for various instruction or updates to perform the functions that you are responsible for, stay current on tools and processes, take required training sessions.
  • Maintain a good understanding of all GDS systems and airline knowledge to ensure proper process can be implemented to ensure accuracy with client reporting.
  • Responsible for understanding Global Max back office functionality and reporting
Communication
  • Proficient in writing and speaking English
  • Collaborate with other teams and to develop best practices and solutions
  • Strong customer service, analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills
Knowledge
  • Implement creative uses of technology to help decrease transaction processing time and manual involvement.
  • Plan and organize projects to ensure company objectives are met.
  • Facilitation of, and participation in, activities with internal business partners to understand and gather business needs and requirements
Tools & Technology
  • Look for continuous process improvement.
  • Creating new department processes with accompanying documentation as directed and approved by supervisor/manager or appointed personnel
  • Providing training to internal department and/or relevant stakeholders
  • Use effective time management to work on multiple requests concurrently and deliver on time per department service level agreement
KPI & SLA Development
  • Ensure that daily invoices settlement within stipulated SLA
  • Respond to client’s email or queries within stipulated SLA
Projects
  • Open to new projects, learn other areas within the department and be available to support peers, present an understanding of adaptability and flexibility

We're looking for you if your profile matches the following:
  • MS Office experience; specifically, Word and EXCEL
  • Minimum 2 years travel industry experience, preferably with TMC and/or GDS
  • Strong analytical skills and problem solving
  • Capable of working independently
  • Able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Meticulous
  • Self-motivated and goal oriented
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
