Client Onboarding Analyst | Bank | 6 Month Contract

Job Description


You will be working with the team of Account & Market Activation Specialists in Singapore with an assigned client base. You will oversee and coordinate your client\'s account and market activation activities, assist in day-to-day queries in relation to the products, services, and global markets, and adhere to service level agreements in a highly regulated environment. You will also be involved in key strategic initiatives, change management, process reviews and other regulatory changes. Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Take full responsibility for a client base and act as the link between the client/Relationship Manager (RM) and the various operational areas of the firm.
  • Act as the lead point of contact on behalf of Client Activation when working directly with clients to execute on their account and market initiatives e.g., asset conversions, mergers/acquisitions, name/address changes, and new fund launches.
  • Maintain awareness of ongoing global projects with the potential to impact the group, engage in those with a potential to impact our role and use that knowledge in co-ordinating and leading business change.
  • Interpret client instructions and assist in the completion of necessary documentation to ensure that the static data is accurately set up on all proprietary systems.
  • Conduct in-depth regular reviews of all outstanding items ensuring activities are completed in accordance with service level agreements.
  • Build and maintain excellent client relationships to provide a best-in-class client experience and help grow the department and client business.
  • Develop a full understanding of an individual client\'s structure and requirements to ensure a tailored service when engaging with clients around their account and market setups.
  • Use and expand knowledge of the products, services and global markets offered to our clients to simplify the understanding and setup process for our clients.
Job Qualifications
  • Degree in Banking or equivalent with 2 - 3 years of experience in financial services and financial product knowledge.
  • Risk mindset with experience of enhancing controls within the processes.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the requirement for end-to-end account opening.
  • Proven organisation and prioritisation skills and ability to manage self to meet tight deadlines.
  • Effective decision making, especially in situations of ambiguity, complexity and/or urgency.
  • Ability to understand complexities in a transaction.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
