Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Clinic Assistant to support the smooth operation of our modern GP clinic in Orchard Road.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the daily running of the clinic, ensuring efficiency in patient flow and operational tasks. Help with clinic appointments, registrations, and cashiering, ensuring accuracy and professionalism. Support the doctor in performing procedures such as ECG, wound dressing, and point-of-care testing (e.g., HbA1c for diabetes screening) Participate in triaging patients with Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) symptoms for appropriate medical attention. Assist inconducting rapid swab tests and PCR diagnostics for Influenza, COVID-19, and other respiratory viruses. Maintain a patient-friendly and professional atmosphere, ensuring a positive experience for those visiting the clinic.

Job Requirements

Skills:

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Willingness to learn and adapt in a clinical environment. Basic computer literacy for handling clinic management software.

Medical Knowledge:

General awareness of medical procedures and terminology (training provided).

Responsible, punctual, and eager to develop skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.

Customer Service:

Good attitude and courteous when assisting patients and colleagues. Friendly and patient-focused approach to interacting with individuals from various backgrounds.
Successful candidate can start work immediately.

Requirements:

Diploma, 'A' levels or equivalent. (SPM and above are welcome). IT/Internet savvy. Previous experience in healthcare is preferred. Those without experience but willing to learn will also be considered
