The Challenges
Responsible for translating patients' medical diagnoses, operations and procedures into codes, using the International coding classification system which record patients' health care data. Ensure accuracy, completeness and timeliness of coding and be responsible for own workload.
Requirements:
Recognised Diploma or Degree in Nursing / Paramedical / Health Science Clinical experience in an acute ward settings or related field Able to perform precise and detailed work Knowledgeable in ICD classification systems is an advantage Proficient in Excel and basis statistical skill * Self-motivated, able to work independently as well as in a team
