Listen to the recorded dictation of doctors.
Transcribe and interpret the dictation into diagnostic test results and reports.
Make sure the transcription is correct, complete and has a consistent style.
Identify inconsistencies, error and missing information within a report that could compromise patient care.
Submit health records to physicians for approval.
Follow patient confidentiality/guidelines and legal documentation requirements.
Filing and upload transcribed reports.
Any other duties as assigned by the management.
Requirements:
At least GCE 'N"/ 'O' Levels, Professional Certificate/ NiTEC, Diploma/ Advanced/ Higher/ Graduate Diploma in any field
Related working experience in healthcare and understanding of medical terminology/ abbreviations/ jargon will be an added advantage
Strong computer/typing skills. Proficient in MS Office Advantage
Meticulous, eye for details, precise, organised and efficient
Good communication and interpersonal skill
Effective team player and able to work in fast paced environment
