Clinical Research Advisor (Part-Time / Project-Based)
to support the clinical and ethical foundations of our AI mental health products. You will collaborate with our AI engineering team to define risk indicators, structure decision flows, and establish evaluation benchmarks based on evidence-based mental health frameworks.
This is a highly flexible role suitable for professionals who are passionate about applying clinical knowledge to technological innovation, with the option to work remotely.
Key Responsibilities
Risk Stratification & Intervention Guidelines
Define tiered evaluation criteria and early intervention guidelines based on
DSM-5 / ICD-11
.
Assist in translating clinical risk assessments into AI-compatible logic and workflows.
Review of AI Dialogue Prompts & Human-Centered Design
Audit and approve multi-turn dialogue flows for safety, human empathy, and therapeutic alignment.
Measurement Tool Selection & Benchmarking
Recommend validated scales (e.g., PHQ-9, GAD-7, PCL-5, OQ-45) and establish metrics for treatment efficacy.
Ethics & Compliance Design
Define requirements for informed consent, disclaimers, privacy protocols, and risk escalation handling.
Research Collaboration
Lead or advise on pilot-scale clinical validation studies and outcome reporting.
Product Strategy Support
Provide ongoing clinical advisory for product features related to safety, triage, or escalation.

Requirements
Educational Background
:
PhD / Master's in
Clinical Psychology
,
Psychiatry
, or related mental health discipline.
Licensed/Registered psychologist or psychiatrist preferred (e.g.,
SPS
,
APA
, or equivalent).
Clinical Experience
:
5-10 years of experience in clinical mental health settings.
Familiar with evidence-based therapies (e.g.,
CBT
,
ACT
,
psychodynamic psychotherapy
).
Standards & Framework Knowledge
:
Familiarity with
DSM-5 / ICD-11
diagnostic frameworks and ethical handling of privacy-sensitive data.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration
:
Comfortable working with AI engineers and UX designers in a startup or cross-functional environment.
Willing to act as an advisor or principal investigator on clinically sensitive AI initiatives.
