What You'll Do
The Cloud Architect is a hands-on architect accountable for articulating, architecting & actively assisting with selling & delivery of Oracle Consulting's service offerings around integrating the entire Oracle Cloud (& On-premise) Technology stack with the Business Requirements of our clients in order to deliver transformation. As a Cloud Architect, you will:

• Owns the domain specific solution design aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality and coordinated business solutions. Anticipates project risks and suggest risk mitigation to project manager. Resolves sophisticated customer issues by recommending solutions. Demonstrates expertise in multiple business processes across two or more product families or ability to architect and design technology solutions encompassing multiple products
• Act as a recognized authority and leading contributor within the practice, this senior-level consulting professional has broad understanding of solutions, industry standard methodologies, multiple business processes or technology designs across multiple product/technology families
• Assist in the growth and development of the digital (UX/DX) domain for consulting in ASEAN and SAGE. Provide hands-on leadership and direction, contributing to the growth of intellectual capital in the industry and supporting the development of other consultants through mentoring and/or coaching activities
• Works directly with consulting sales to analyze customer business needs and carries a soft quota
• Leading key projects delivery as the engagement lead and solution advisor
• Business case development, project and program management, business development, proposal writing and management

Key Roles and Responsibilities include:

• 15+ years of experience in Consulting (from a leading consulting company) and the software industry, with mandatory hands-on experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) migration projects.
• Lead key project deliveries as a solution architect, hands-on lead developer, and/or technical leader.
• Proven communicator with the ability to motivate teams (internal and external) and align around business goals and objectives.
• Strong capability to manage multiple delivery engagements.
• Experience in:

• Business case development
• Project and program management
• Business development
• Proposal writing and management
• Hands-on development using formal structured methodologies.
• Contributed to the growth of OCI-based cloud solutions within the consulting domain.
• Provide hands-on leadership and direction, mentor consultants, and contribute to industry intellectual capital.
• Design and develop custom cloud applications, including OCI-native implementations.
• Design OCI Cloud Architecture, including high-level and low-level architecture, network architecture, and security models.
• Develop migration strategies for data center (DC) to cloud transformation, including workload assessment, re-platforming, and hybrid models.
• Support presales activities, including solutioning, client presentations, proposals, and RFP responses.
• Knowledge of Oracle RDBMS and related tools such as GoldenGate, Enterprise Manager Suite, and OCI database services.
• Willingness to travel is mandatory - must be able to support client engagements across different locations as needed.
• Must be OCI Infrastructure and Architecture certified.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services including Compute, Block Storage, Object Storage, Networking, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and Monitoring.
• Experience with Microservices architecture using Docker, Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Puppet, Ansible, etc.
• Understanding of NoSQL databases and Big Data architecture.
• Experience with other infrastructure cloud platforms such as AWS and Microsoft Azure.
