We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud DevOps Engineer. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and maintaining our robust and scalable AWS infrastructure. The ideal candidate is passionate about automation, infrastructure as code (IaC), and continuously improving operational excellence. You will work collaboratively to ensure our cloud environments are efficient, secure, and aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure using IaC tools such as
Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, and Ansible
. Implement policy-as-code with
Sentinel
to enforce governance and security standards.
AWS Control Tower & Landing Zones:
Enhance the efficiency and robustness of our
AWS Control Tower landing zone
, including the management of pipelines, workflows, and
CloudFormation StackSets
.
Automation & Optimization:
Drive operational excellence by automating routine tasks and optimizing processes using AWS native services like
AWS Lambda, Step Functions, and AWS Systems Manager
.
Collaboration:
Work closely with enterprise application engineers to understand business requirements and ensure automation solutions are effectively aligned and deliver tangible value.
Troubleshooting & Support:
Troubleshoot and debug complex issues related to AWS resources and infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
Security & Compliance:
Implement and maintain security best practices, ensuring all infrastructure adheres to organizational security requirements and compliance standards.
Qualifications & Skills
Must-Haves:
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with a strong focus on AWS.
Hands-on expertise with
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
using
Terraform
and configuration management with
Ansible
.
Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably
GitLab CI/CD
.
Practical knowledge of
AWS Control Tower, Landing Zone
architecture, and
CloudFormation Stacks/StackSets
.
Proficiency in automating tasks using
AWS Lambda, Step Functions, and Systems Manager
.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a cloud-native environment.
Nice-to-Haves:
Experience with policy-as-code using
Sentinel
or similar tools.
Relevant AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional).
Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
