Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for engineering the Hashicorp Vault capabilities and develop integration patterns for SCB business applications to enable secrets management. The role partners & will work with other technical teams and architects.
• Understand the cloud and containerization implementation in SCB and assist business applications hosted on public cloud (AWS, Azure) to enable them to adopt Hashicorp Vault seamlessly.
• Coordinate solution implementation, advisory, problem management, change control and incident response.
• Excellent collaborator with business teams, infra teams, security operations and offers technical guidance
• Ability to research understand and influence the adoption of Secrets Management in emerging areas.
• Engineering / deploying / configuring Hashicorp Vault deployments using secure pipelines via Jenkins and Terraform for OnPrem, AWS
  • Engineer the service adoption framework for Hashicorp Vault following micro-service architecture and rich UI.
• Perform necessary risk assessments to identify & document potential control gaps.
• Strong presentation skills with an excellent standard of English
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills with a troubleshooting mindset
• Must be articulate and composed when delivering difficult messages to stakeholders

Skillset Requirements

• Strong communicator with experience in agile working environments
• Minimum over-all experience of 6+ years as DevOps with at-least 4+ years with AWS & Terraform.
• 2+ years' of hands-on experience with Hashicorp Vault
• Hands-on experience in using DevOps tools (GIT, Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence)
• Experience working with Container Technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Hands-on experience with designing, developing & deploying systems, and workloads in AWS.
• Strong knowledge of Groovy scripting implementing pipelines will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of microservice Architecture principles and developing / deploying Microservices will be an advantage.
• Experience working with Java, Spring Boot would be an advantage
• Ability to work well within a multi-disciplinary team structure, but also independently
• Eager for learning new things
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrates analytical and systematic approach to problem solving.
• Strong technologist who keeps up to date with technology
• Motivated to do hands-on development and peer reviews
• Undergraduate level qualification with Bachelor in Engineering or Computer Science
• Strong English communication skills
• Self-starter capable of identifying opportunities and delivering solutions on their own

Highly Desirable

• Breadth of technical knowledge – operating systems, networking, distributed computing, cloud as well as development tools.
• Certifications in AWS, Hashicorp Vault, Terraform, Kubernetes.
