Digital Business Services combines global expertise and technology to help keep us ahead of the competition. We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Cloud Engineer. Principal Responsibilities

• Develop and implement policies for the use of cloud services, managing requests for new technology, establishing a secure cloud environment, and ensuring appropriate availability of services
• Consolidate and reduce infrastructure complexity
• Work closely with business and IT stakeholders to design and deliver Service Management infrastructure such that they are efficient, cost optimal and highly resilient
• Ensure Service Quality Targets are met for offered Service Management infrastructure services
• Write development code, understand a DevOps Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipeline, and build automated test scripts (for infrastructure products and upgrades) and build automation interfaces between systems

Requirements
Requirements

• Rich experience in DevOps tooling and rich experience on Cloud environment
• Cross border Payments and FX knowledge will be an asset
• A university graduate with degree in IT, finance or a related discipline
• Business and technical knowledge on banking system would be an advantage
• Familiarity with the HSBC standards and processes would be useful
• Able to work independently, under pressure and proactively
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Proficient in spoken and written English
