About the role: As the Cloud Network Architect you are responsible for overall delivery and operations of cloud network delivery and operations across businesses globally. This role is responsible for day-to-day oversight and technical vendor management of Managed Service Providers and key vendors. Ensures of highly available and high performing network and cloud services supporting business functions and partners. Provides a leadership single point of contact for all network services and fulfils business needs and requirements for network services. Additionally, this role will oversee and run key ITIL process with high attention to Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Asset Management, SLA Management, Capacity Management, Release Management, Escalation Management, and Vulnerability Management. Develop networking solutions for IaaS/SaaS/PaaS applications that reside in private cloud, public cloud or both. Understand the 'big picture' to develop solutions that will integrate smoothly, provide high availability and follow standards and security policy. Work with application engineering, devops, operations and clients to identify connectivity requirements. Understand end to end network traffic flows. Design and deploy network solutions for integrated on-prem application functions with cloud application functions. Develop and document new standards for network deployments. Work independently, plan your work, lead networking discussions with other teams, vendors and clients Provide leadership and coaching for deployment teams and network operations About you: Candidate should possess 15+ years of relevant experience with Network and cloud domain. Also, it is mandatory to have valid certifications in Network (CCIE) and Cloud (atleast associate level) for most of cloud platforms Technical expertise in network technologies such as switching / routing, WAN, WLAN, IPT, Firewalls, load balancers, WAN optimizers, cloud-based network services, SDN, SD-WAN, ISE 15+ years of experience supporting, deploying, or designing cisco LAN, WAN, Security, and wireless networks 15+ years of experience in non-cisco environments (checkpoint, Paloalto, riverbeds) 10+ years of experience managing a global technical support team 5+ years of experience in Cloud deployment/migration (preferably AWS and GCP) Experience with process improvement and systems development, leveraging automation to streamline repetitive workflows. Communication skills and experience working in a global team environment Experience working in Enterprise Networks, Data Centre technologies, cloud technologies Experience with managing network/cloud operations and maintenance activity in a 24x7 production environment Drives and communicates network services strategy for global network and cloud architecture Takes proactive measures to reduce costs wherever possible, while managing and maintaining availability and quality of global network Ensures that the skills and capabilities of the teams are maintained and evolved to meet the changing IT network landscape. Provides leadership, mentoring, and career guidance to matrixed employees in the region. Experience in financial planning and/or budgeting Knowledge of maintenance programs (like SmartNet) from network vendors. ITIL certification Dyson is an equal opportunity employer.
