You will be responsible for designing and setting up the systems pertaining to the software architecture provided by solution teams which include computer networks, local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), Intranets, and other data communications systems. Responsibilities: Review and analyze client's requirements to develop technical network solutions and system design and its framework The above would apply to Internal projects as well Write functional requirements/specifications documents for all the necessary systems pertaining to network designs Design, test, and inspect data communications systems Perform network simulations, analysis, and planning Install hardware such as servers, managed switches, cables, routers, and wireless Perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems and translate them into Standard FAQ Manage technology vendors/sub-contractors, when required Upgrade network hardware and software components as required Stay abreast of evolving network technology infrastructures that are currently impacting and driving the market Prior skillset acquired in telco environment is a plus Strong experience in BGP/ASN is a plus Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in computer science or related technical discipline At least 3-5 years of experience in network design and planning Competent in both WINTEL (Windows) & LINUX operating environments (Ubuntu, Red Hat, Oracle) is mandatory Professional certification such as CNNA/CCNP/CompTIA A+/Network Certification would be an advantage Experience working on Government projects and understanding the CIS benchmark or IM8 Standard is preferred Having prior experience in hybrid-cloud setup would be an advantage
