Our client is seeking an experienced Cloud Security Consultant to work with various application teams to onboard their business applications onto their cloud infrastructure environment.

He/She needs to ensure that the overall cloud applications platform are secure, robust and resilient.

Mandatory Skill(s)

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems;
• At least 5 years of working experience in designing, deploying, managing enterprise level security infrastructure platforms;
• Strong technical experience in security operations, hardening of networks and servers, vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, incidence response;
• Strong knowledge in Cloud AWS , Microsoft Azure , Google Cloud ) , Web infrastructure security and compliance;
• Experience in providing production ( pre and post ) support to projects team to upkeep and strengthen the essential enterprise level IT security services;
• Knowledge on container orchestration tools ( OpenStack, Kubernetes, Docker ) and Infrastructure-as-Code tools ( AWS CloudFormation, Terraform );
• Highly motivated, results-driven, and able to multi-task;
• Strong analytical & problem solving skills;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and able to work well with cross-organizational teams.

Desirable Skill(s)

• Cloud Certifications;
• AWS Certified Solution Architect - Associate;
• Microsoft Azure Architect Design;
• Google Associate Cloud Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Provide essential enterprise level IT Security services for new cloud application system initiatives for either on-premise infrastructure or cloud computing platforms, or both;
• Involved in providing end-to-end infrastructure architecture solutioning from the project initiation (proposal justification, design rational and recommendations) to the actual deployment;
• Work on the Application Reference Architecture taking into consideration the overall system integration, security practices and process and harmonizing into existing platform, fine-tuning the performance metrics;
• Conduct the deployment, maintenance, monitoring, the integration of new applications into the cloud environment;
• Manage and work with vendors on the execution and implementation of the new security initiatives;
• Develop secure cloud infrastructure practices, standards, guidelines and solutions towards adopting technical best practices;
• Handle IT new enhancements deployment as well as Business-As-Usual operations including Incident / Problem management;
• Provide architecture and technical support during production incidents;
• Stay abreast of emerging cloud technologies and digital trends.
