We are seeking a

Solution Architect

to join a cross-functional architecture team supporting the transformation of a large-scale Wealth Management Information System to a modern cloud-based infrastructure. The role involves guiding project teams on architecture decisions, ensuring compliance with enterprise standards, and driving cloud migration efforts across various business and technical domains.


This position is embedded in a strategic initiative to modernize and migrate applications to a private cloud platform. The architect will be responsible for end-to-end solutioning, documentation, and cross-team coordination for both cloud migrations and ongoing BAU enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain architecture documentation for assigned departments or divisions: System and application architecture diagrams Application referential inventory and associated metadata Architecture principles, non-conformities, and remediation plans Obsolescence tracking and KPIs Lead solution design on cloud migration and transformation projects: Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, developers, and tech leads Design solutions that are aligned with enterprise architecture standards Ensure compatibility with the target cloud infrastructure and platform services Guide project teams through architecture validation processes: Prepare and present architecture documentation for review committees Support architecture reviews from design to post-go-live Champion cloud-native best practices and IT modernization principles Serve as the architecture point of contact for assigned applications and teams: Advise on support and evolution activities Provide subject matter expertise and technical leadership Maintain up-to-date architectural and referential documentation throughout project lifecycles Provide specialized input on cloud technologies and architectural domains Participate in feasibility studies, PoCs, and pre-project assessments with stakeholders

Candidate profile

Proven experience designing cloud-native applications and migration architectures Familiarity with modern integration and infrastructure patterns (REST APIs, containers, Kafka, event-driven architectures) Strong background in application development using technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Oracle/PostgreSQL, Linux Exposure to financial systems, ideally within core banking or wealth management Proficient in technical modeling and documentation (application landscapes, software and infrastructure design), TOGAF knowledge is a plus Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills Ability to influence, lead design discussions, and coordinate across IT and business teams Familiarity with core banking platforms (e.g. Temenos T24, Avaloq, ERI Olympic) is a definite advantage Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field 8+ years of experience in IT, with 3+ years as a Solution Architect in cloud-based environments * Cloud and/or enterprise architecture certification preferred (e.g. AWS Certified Architect, TOGAF, IBM Cloud)
