Role Summary

Are you a seasoned Cloud Strategist and Cloud Solutions Expert eager to shape the future of cloud infrastructure? In their quest to harness cloud technologies effectively, our client is seeking an exceptional Cloud Architect to lead the charge in crafting a scalable, sustainable and competitive cloud strategy and maintaining cutting-edge game-changing cloud solutions that align with their business goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement visionary cloud strategy and solutions, ensuring they align with the organisation\'s strategic objectives.
• Lead the design and execution of innovative, scalable, and cost-effective cloud systems that underpin critical operations.
• Spearheading cloud migration efforts, expertly assessing the compatibility of on-premises applications with cloud environments.
• Ensure robust security practices are established and maintained in the cloud ecosystem, safeguarding sensitive data and resources.
• Vigilantly manage and optimize cloud expenses by leveraging cost-effective services and best practices.
• Implement automation and orchestration strategies to enhance the efficiency of cloud operations.
• Forge strategic partnerships with cross-functional teams, deeply understanding their needs, and offering your expertise to drive innovation.
• Develop and uphold meticulous documentation, ensuring the clarity and transparency of cloud architecture and configurations.

Requirements

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with a preference for a Master\'s degree.
• Demonstrate at least 6-8 years of hands-on experience in roles in Cloud Strategy/ Cloud Architecture or similar positions, highlighting your advanced skill set.
• Showcase in-depth familiarity with Azure and other cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud etc.
• Exhibit a strong grasp of cloud security principles and best practices, emphasising your commitment to data and resource protection.
• Demonstrate proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages, illustrating your technical versatility.
• Display outstanding problem-solving skills and an ability to excel in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect) to underscore your qualifications as the subject matter expert preferred.
