About team

J.P. Morgan Corporate & Investment Banking team recognises the strategic importance of ASEAN not only as a revenue generator but as a critical engine room for delivery of technology services across Markets, Investor Services and Banking. Join our Application Support engine room to work with forefront technology and payments domain.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Execute the delivery and technical support of applications and working as face-off between the Business teams (Sales, Product, Operations, and Client Services) and technology teams.
  • Support day-to-day technology related matter for Payment business and interface with key external partners (regulatory bodies, partner banks, and vendors).

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related disciplines
  • Minimum 2 years of proven technology experience managing complex client demand, driving technology solutions and meeting business and client expectations in an Application Support role
  • Basic knowledge in network and infrastructure: Unix, Windows, IBM-MQ, Web (Tomcat/IBM Websphere), SFTP, NDM, SSL, HSM
  • Basic knowledge of monitoring platforms: ITRS Geneos, Splunk etc
  • Basic knowledge of incident management, problem and management
  • Prior experience working in banking and/or payments domain is advantageous but not mandatory, including high and low value payment, SWIFT, real-time payment, collection, cheque clearing, tax payment, partner bank system
  • Strong collaborator with ability to foster relationships effectively with diverse groups across geographies
  • Adaptable and able to multi-task, handling complex requirements
