Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and motivated
AWS Cloud Wintel Engineer
with years of expertise in managing and supporting Windows-based environments on AWS. The candidate should have a strong foundation in system administration, cloud infrastructure, and automation within the AWS ecosystem.Provision, configure, and manage Windows Server environments on AWS (EC2, EBS, S3, IAM, etc.) Perform patching, backup, and recovery of Windows servers hosted in AWS Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies in cloud and hybrid setups Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (e.g., CloudWatch, SSM) Support the migration of on-premises Windows workloads to AWS using AWS Migration tools Automate repetitive administrative tasks using PowerShell, AWS CLI, or similar scripting tools Troubleshoot OS-level and AWS infrastructure issues (e.g., performance bottlenecks, network issues) Ensure compliance with security standards, best practices, and organizational policies Prepare clear documentation and communicate effectively with stakeholders Apply ITIL practices to patch management, incident resolution, and infrastructure monitoring Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
