Cluster Communications Director- East Asia and Singapore/Malaysia Responsibilities and Accountabilities The Cluster Communications Director is responsible for devising and executing the communications strategy to promote Alstom\xe2\x80\x99s image and support business growth in the country as well as new territories of growth in East Asia and Singapore/Malaysia The role encompasses: Internal
Build up a relationship of trust with Communications management and Country MD and position the Communications Department in such a way as to ensure its meaningful involvement with the project team.
Build on employee engagement strategies together with HR
Advise on communication opportunities and techniques (Promotes the use of management. communication platforms)
Promotes internally Alstom values based on guidelines provided by HR communications, specific programmes etc\xe2\x80\xa6
Manages deployment of internal programs (Corporate, Sectors specific\xe2\x80\xa6), strategic decisions and information towards employees in the country with on-line and off-line supports
Manage the flow of information which are relevant to Alstom employees in the country (local and global news) and decide about the format of the tool to support country based management (Intranet, publications, face to face meetings, seminars\xe2\x80\xa6)
Provide information regularly concerning the country to the Corporate/Sectors publications Teamsflash / Intranet / Internet ) as per those publication\xe2\x80\x99s guidelines
Support crisis communications management at country level
Develop and manages a sites comms relays network and provide guidelines on effective deployment of specific programs + poster campaigns
Organize and manage sites events (Open days, internal exhibitions\xe2\x80\xa6)
Contribute to support HR university relations
Make sure that Alstom visual identity and graphic chart are fully respected in the sites
Manage internal opinion survey when deemed
Build CSR and employee volunteering programs
External
Build relationships with journalists/bloggers and manage all aspects of media relations including press release development and distribution, press conferences, press trips etc.
Crisis Communications
Marketing communications including event participation strategy and conceptualization and execution of customer driven events
Media partnerships
Managing presence in social media
Branding and visual identity of JV\xe2\x80\x99s and Alstom in the country
Build relationships with NGO\xe2\x80\x99s to drive country CSR actions
