Job Overview As the cluster marketing lead, you are responsible for driving the cluster of hotels\xe2\x80\x99 marketing effectiveness across different primary areas of focus such as:
Maximise and generate brand awareness and revenue demand though the implementation of marketing initiatives that drive measurable performance focusing primarily on Hotels and Restaurants & Bars Marketing
Responsible for the planning, directing, controlling, coordinating and participating in all Public Relations activities. You will also help to create a desired work culture around our Winning Ways of the InterContinental Hotels Group and embrace the IHG Commitment
Generate and drive online leads and revenue including but not limited to development of distribution channel strategies and action plans to grow web revenue, aligned to the brand, loyalty brand and outlet marketing strategies to achieve a low-cost book direct revenue, market share growth and brand preference
Your Duties and ResponsibilitiesMARKETING
Manage and execute the annual marketing calendar that delivers consistent messages across all touchpoints, with the objectives of revenue generation in mind
Interfaces with regional marketing team for cross-border and/or national promotions pull-through
Develops and implements property-wide campaigns and packages to meet or exceed the needs and expectations of the brand\xe2\x80\x99s target customer profile focusing on maximizing return of investments
Manage and monitor the annual marketing budget closely to ensure optimal utilization of funds
Stewart and champion meaningful partnerships with key stakeholders to derive maximum value and returns through building win-win collaborations
Ensure local consumer marketing reflects the voice of the Brand and adheres to brand standards.
Works closely with the Marketing team to develop social/digital activities and utilizes best practices (e.g. Local Measure) to monitor and optimize the guest experience
PUBLIC RELATIONS
Manage and execute a PR programme focusing on earning media placements through media drops, hosting, tastings, VIP/media events, press releases and media alerts
Develop and build a strong network that is ready to activate across both consumer and trade media
Key liaison for all media channels acting as the face of the Hotel and R&B across all media familiarization trips and visits
Maintains clipping files pertaining to the hotel(s) based on daily perusal of the media and provides same to other departments, other hotels, corporate public relations, as appropriate
Update and housekeep all media clippings and tracks progress and results of such earned media placements
PERFORMANCE MARKETING
Serve as the subject matter expert responsible for the analysis of paid search, display, remarketing, and metasearch campaigns, using a data-driven approach to facilitate informed decisions
Develop and execute strategies for account structure, bid optimisation, creative testing, and keyword and ad copy optimisation
Drive brand awareness online, as well as generate direct leads and revenue for the booking engine
Set clear and measurable KPIs to achieve maximum returns on investment for all paid media
Lead the in-house campaign management, optimisation and reporting of metasearch campaigns
Implement and analyse the measurement of all digital activity to ensure effectiveness, proper usage and awareness of analytics data
Report and review performance marketing campaigns with internal stakeholders
CONTENT MARKETING
Strengthen customer relationships through social and earned media, monitoring both hotel, R&Bs and competitors\xe2\x80\x99 presence on social media for performance enhancement
Develop and implement KOL outreach programmes for Singapore and key source markets
Create and maintain a social media editorial calendar and posting schedule with acquisition, and engagement metrics in mind
Copywrite eDMs and all digital collaterals for online use
Key liaison for IHG Rewards including but not limited to:
o Relay key information, updates and standards to various departments o Track and report on these activations and standards o Submission of hotels and/or R&Bs offers or information in a timely manner OTHERS
Keep internal stakeholders informed of online travel marketing best practices, the key travel industry and consumer trends, share best practices and gain efficiencies
Manage and monitor the annual marketing budget closely to ensure optimal utilization of funds
Key champion of the various distribution channels and optimise the visibility and ROAS for all boosters by working closely with the respective market managers
What we need from You
Bachelor\'s Degree in Marketing
5-6 years in corporate marketing environment in position with responsibility for multiple project management, internal and external communications and creative development
Familiar with brand marketing, marketing communications, loyalty marketing, public relations and have digital/social marketing experience
