Overview of Role

A Cluster Sales Manager/Cluster Senior Sales Manager (Leisure) with Conrad Hotels and Resorts will develop Sales plan that maximizes revenue by driving the sale of conference facility space and guest rooms.

What will I be doing?

As a Cluster Sales Manager/Cluster Senior Sales Manager (Leisure) , you will be working on maximizing revenue opportunities for the leisure segment. He/She will be directly responsible for performing the following task to the highest standards:

- Maximize all travel segment revenue opportunities

- Review sales and other revenue generating business plans, identify gaps, ensure proactive measures to fill hotel and conference space capacity, and meet set targets

- Contribute to the selling strategy of the hotel and manage the departments so that Team Members adhere to the strategy

- Understand the competitive marketplace and implement approaches to ensure the hotel stays competitive in the local market

- Ensures a culture of high quality standards and proactive selling

- Meet with clients on property, during outside sales calls and participate in industry event and represents the hotel at national and international specialist trade fairs and workshops, agreed by the CDOS and in co-ordination with the whole Business Development Department

- Prepare company contracts for the hotel in accordance with current business and pricing conditions

- Monitor offers, options and discounts for repeat bookings for groups, congresses and seminars in close cooperation with the Group Coordinator

- Cooperate with other departments in the hotel, particularly Reservations and the Banqueting Department, to create an exceptional Guest experience and build strong, comprehensive sales programs

- Conduct \xe2\x80\x9cBring Back Old Business\xe2\x80\x9d and repeat calls to increase demand and overall revenue

- Conduct Conrad Journey (site inspections) and host as entertainment for potential clients where relevant and appropriate

- Submit sales activities to CADOS/CDOS on a weekly basis, achieving the minimum number of activities per week

- Ensure that sales call plans are submitted on weekly basis the week prior to CADOS/CDOS

- Support CADOS in supervising and coaching Sales Coordinator through close supportive relationship

- Support CDOS in tasks such as team member training and performance related assessments

- Any additional tasks assigned by the Director of Sales or Commercial Director.
