KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Stakeholders and Vendor management.
Sourcing and onboarding of new Market Data (reference data, market indexes)
Market Data usage and contracts renewal review.
Relationship management with vendors for contractual aspects and follow-up.
Negotiation with vendors on contractual terms and fees
Costs monitoring: expenses validation and contribution in budget preparation.
Maintenance of Market Data Inventory System.
Contribution on adhoc projects and improvement initiatives.
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in Finance, Account or Business -related disciplines.
Experience in large financial services institutions especially Asset Management and Investment Services sector.
A deep understanding of asset management business (usage of data, processes, systems, controls and deliverables).
Demonstrated experience in Market Data and hands on experience on related internal processes.
Knowledge of Market Data vendor services/ products and contractual aspects.
Ability to deal with business stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of the small team.
Data management experience and understanding of data management frameworks are strong added values.
Experience of Market Data Inventory Systems such as FITS, InfoMatch, Optimize Spend or MDM.

As a Senior Manager identified under the MAS Individual Accountability and Conduct Guidelines, this role will be principally responsible for and have appropriate management oversight of key functions reporting to this role including being responsible for the actions of employees, teams and the conduct of the business under its purview. This role will need to set the right tone from the top, define the risk appetite as well as roles and responsibilities of Material Risk Personnel. The Senior Manager should also ensure that effective risk governance process and control measures in adherence with relevant regulatory requirements are in place; ensure proper oversight over any relevant outsourcing arrangement and adequate supervision over delegated responsibilities.

As a Material Risk Personnel identified under the MAS Individual Accountability and Conduct Guidelines, this role will assist the senior managers to put in place appropriate standards, effective risk management, controls and processes to ensure that decisions made or activities conducted will not materially impact the safety and soundness of the company or cause harm to a significant segment of the company\xe2\x80\x99s customers or other stakeholders.
