Founded in Singapore in 2004, Akribis Systems is a motion control company that provides high precision direct drive motors. We construct products for a range of industries including renewable energy, semiconductor, communication, biomedical, robotics or any industry that requires precise motion. We produce direct drive motors with a high force density and patented coil design that decreases cogging. Our linear and rotary motors also are available with stages that we manufacture ourselves so you can smoothly integrate the motor into your design. More than simply a manufacturer, we are also innovators. Our deep knowledge of engineering and dedication to the work has resulted in 44 patents, and our research and development into the field of magnetics will only continue to grow our business. Our engineers are able to custom design motors and stages to your specific requirements with you as a co-developer. DESIGNATION : CNC Turning Technician

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operates CNC lathe and manual lathe machines to fabricate precision part according to drawing.
• Be able to interpret mechanical drawing and fabricate according to its requirements.
• To be able to create CNC program according to drawing requirements and to always upgrade programming skil.
• Be able to check and inspect part using measuring tools.
• Plan and analysis to complete fabrication work according to production schedule.
• Work closely with QC inspector to resolve quality issue.
• To work overtime when required to support production demand.
• Clean up machine and surrounding work area daily.
• Perform daily machine maintenance and weekly preventive maintenance.
• To upkeep the overall department cleanliness and comfortable environment.
• Strictly follow safety regulations.
• Be aware of company ISO requirements and cooperate accordingly
• Be able to work on night shift when needed.

• Candidate must possess at least ITE/NITEC and/or any other relevant course of study.
• Computer basic skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), preferred academic qualification higher than 'O' level.
• Preferably with 3-5 years of relevant working experience in precision fabrication work on CNC turning with programming.
• Demonstrate ability to handle work professionally, independently and efficiently.
• Possess knowledge of mechanical drawing and precision fabrication.
• Having both skills of CNC with manual be preferred.
