The Sales Enablement & Operations (SE&O) team plays an essential role in translating Microsoft\xe2\x80\x99s Commercial Strategy to a local execution plan and driving operational excellence to achieve the greatest results possible. Our team drives cross-Region, cross-Area and cross-Subsidiary insight and execution excellence, bringing strategy and priorities to life by accelerating the pace of transformation and enabling Microsoft to deliver business impact at scale.

In the Commerce Lead role you\xe2\x80\x99ll have end-to-end accountability for Microsoft\xe2\x80\x99s commerce strategy and landing new business offers to drive revenue and adoption in your local area. You will collaborate with local leadership and stakeholders to create and execute change management plans in your area and monitor area objectives and key results. As a Commerce Lead you will coach and enable our field and partners to adapt to new monetization strategies and business models while continuing to ensure we improve the customer and partner experience. Responsibilities:

CHANGE MANAGEMENT

  • You will drive the transformation to new business models and offers for how customers buy and how the field and partners sell using change management frameworks.
  • You will lead the local area commerce virtual team and translate commerce strategies into change management plans while leveraging audience insights to represent the voice of the customer, partners and sellers.
SALES ENABLEMENT
  • You will assess and evaluate seller\xe2\x80\x99s awareness, desire and knowledge gaps on new business models and develop strategies and tactics to ensure behavior change.
  • You will train and coach field and partner sellers on complex business models and ensure they are ready to transact with customers.
INFLUENCE
  • As a trusted advisor and business model subject matter expert you will develop strategic relationships with internal stakeholders and lead the local area commerce team to ensure alignment and execution of the best customer and partner experience.
BUSINESS IMPACT:
  • You will establish and monitor business goals and targets for adoption of business models that generate net new revenue and realize a better customer and partner experience.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 6+ years change management, business management, marketing, sales operations, or sales experience OR 8+ years change management, business management, marketing, sales operations, or sales experience OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years stakeholder management experience.
  • Native Japanese speaker required to interact with the local Field and Partner teams
PROFESSIONAL:
  • Experienced with Microsoft\xe2\x80\x99s Commercial licensing programs or other technology industry business models, partner ecosystem, customers, and sales motions.
  • Familiarity with mainstream change management frameworks (PROSCI or other) and experienced with identifying gaps and creating strategies to drive behavior change.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and define business metrics, market trends and experience monitoring against objectives and key results.
  • Experienced in orchestrating and leading virtual teams to land change across a highly matrixed organization.
  • Experienced in influencing key stakeholders and leaders.
