Who is the Commercial and Pricing Lead?

You will collaborate with our clients and senior stakeholders to enhance revenue growth through the formulation and implementation of effective device monetisation strategies. In addition, you will play a vital role in maximizing the company\'s profitability by creating innovative commercial and competitive pricing strategies and structures that support the expansion of new service segments, such as Connected Home, throughout the APAC region. These strategies should aim to deliver substantial value and establish mutually beneficial outcomes for both our clients and Asurion.

As a member of the APAC Commercial and Pricing team, you will work closely with a dynamic and experienced group of local and offshore professionals who are dedicated to negotiating best-practice contracts and implementing value-based pricing models. These efforts will be customized to meet the specific requirements of our strategic clients across the region, reflecting our commitment to delivering exceptional service and tailored solutions.

Key Duties:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive device monetisation strategies for both existing and new services throughout the APAC region.
  • Identify and capitalize on new commercial opportunities, optimize pricing strategies, and establish partnerships to drive revenue growth. This includes conducting thorough business case modelling and presenting potential opportunities and new market prospects, such as Connected Home, to senior stakeholders.
  • Engage in problem-solving exercises with stakeholders by closely collaborating with product teams. This involves analyzing market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape to inform go-to-market (GTM) strategies.
  • Foster strong business partnerships by collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of device monetisation strategies and the implementation of plans for new markets.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to ensure the company remains at the forefront of monetisation best practices. Facilitate knowledge sharing across the APAC region to drive the adoption of best practices.
Here\'s what you\'ll bring to the team:
  • 7+ years experience in device monetization revenue generation / pricing / financial modelling / commercial partnerships and negotiation.
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills - using data to inform device monetisation strategies, experience in building pricing models
  • Natural intellectual curiosity and problem-solving ability, experience in leading and driving change.
  • High level of ownership and able to meet tight deadlines
  • Experience in managing time zones / matrix structure within a global organization (able to work flexible hours as needed during peak times)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams and engage stakeholders at all levels
