Direct Search Global has been tasked by a Client (on exclusive terms) to search for a Commercial Director to be based at their office in Singapore. Equipped with strong understanding in EPCIC commercial works for large scale marine & offshore projects, you will also need to be a subject matter expert in business planning & strategies, proposal development and other techno-commercial related involvement. More importantly, to land yourself an opportunity to work with some of the region\'s most influential leaders in the marine & offshore/offshore renewables sector.

Job Responsibilities:

• Initiating new business lines and markets, and leading the business into globalization with entry into new markets
• Building powerful partnership and alliances with local and international contracting companies for strategic wins and successful contracts
• Tender/Proposal Management and Contracts Negotiation for on-going and new business lines including contractual evaluation within business parameters, in compliance with Company policies and procedures
• Carry out thorough review of tender/bids and receipt of inputs form cross-functional department and 3rd parties to address bid requirement
• Oversee relationship management with internal and external stakeholders from pre-award phase to pre-qualification and award stage
• Conceptualize long-term business solutions/alliances though joint-ventures and consortium, and establishment of business acquisition process
• Techno-commercial project reporting and presentations for Senior Management and Banks/Financiers to refine strategic priorities and business plans using commercial/financial modelling and market analysis.

• Minimum Bachelor Degree from a recognized institution. Candidates with MBA will have added advantage
• At least 18 years of reputable commercial involvement and results in the Offshore Construction (Greenfield & Brownfield) and Offshore Wind market
• At least 5 years of experience in Senior Manager capacity for medium to large scale offshore projects
• Excellent track record in the offshore construction market
• A well-networked and respected individual in the global marine & offshore sector
• Excellent people management and Leadership capability
