Commercial Engineer - Ship Repair

Are you a seasoned marine engineering professional with expertise in ship repair estimation and project coordination? We're looking for a Commercial Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to delivering maritime excellence.

Job Responsibilities:

- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates based on specifications, inspections, and client requirements.

- Coordinate with production, procurement, and engineering teams to validate feasibility and resource allocation.

- Act as a key liaison between clients and internal departments to ensure project alignment and customer satisfaction.

- Review project contracts and assist in negotiations to align with company objectives.

- Monitor ongoing tenders and prepare timely, compliant bid submissions.

- Maintain thorough documentation and use CRM/database systems for tracking project progress.

- Support invoicing, variation claims, and final account closure in coordination with the finance and operations teams.

- Continuously analyze market trends and customer insights to improve commercial strategies.

Requirements:

- Degree/Diploma in Marine Engineering or Graduate Marine Engineering (GME).

- Minimum 7 years of experience in ship repair or shipyard project estimation.

- Strong understanding of commercial principles in marine engineering projects.

- Excellent client communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in MS Office, estimation software, and CRM tools.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: $3,000.00 - $4,500.00 per month
