Job Description
The purpose of this role is to provide financial advice and guidance to the business leaders of a large profit centre within a market in support of the achievement of revenue, profit and/or margin targets.:Key responsibilities:
- Partners to provide insight through financial analysis to enable business leaders to make key decisions and achieve targets
- Support client and vendor contract negotiations by providing financial guidance and review to ensure an optimal balance of pricing, early payment discounts, rebates and volume commitments (where applicable)
- Participates on bid teams for pitches and new business driving appropriate commercial terms and pricing
- P&L management, including month end, budgeting and forecasting, analysis and providing interpretation, insight and guidance
- Works with business leaders to understand short, medium and long-term resource requirements and impact on client profitability, forecasts and budgets
- Manage client and company financial audits working with the business and financial operations team
- Identifies and drives operational improvement through analysis of financial plans, management information and performance
