The Company
A growing Food Tech company is looking to hire a Commercial Finance talent as the first finance member in Singapore as the business expands in the region. Consumer Goods/ FMCG or related Food Tech industry exposure will be required.
Requirements
- Bachelor\'s Degree in Accountancy and Chartered Accountant
- Required: Consumer Products/ FMCG or relevant industry exposure
- Commercial Finance experience is a must - having a good understanding of what is trade spend, how it impacts the P&L, which levers to pull to drive unit sales etc
- Ability to fit into an international environment, flexible, hardworking and has excellent communication skills
- Hands-on, and is a self-starter who is resourceful and has a growth mindset (as this is the 1st finance hire in Singapore)
- Singaporean/ Singapore PR applicants
Job Scope
Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will be responsible for financial analysis, driving forecasting accuracy, budgeting, regional reporting, establishing solid business planning processes, providing analytics to business leaders and driving performance management process. You will work closely with the Regional commercial team in driving expansion efforts, monitor and evaluate investment decisions made and ensure they are supported by sound projections & analysis which are aligned with group strategic direction.
You will provide strategic support to the regional team, such as in identifying and evaluating business opportunities as well as in providing analysis, data and financial insights to drive business performance and commercial decision making.
Strong proficiency in Excel and Power Point will be required. The successful candidate needs to be comfortable in working independently as the only Finance headcount in Singapore as the business expands in Asia.
