Position Summary

The Commercial Operation Specialist will play a critical role in supporting regional RGM strategies and initiatives and other commercial operation activities (process optimization, tool development etc.).

This position involves analyzing data (sales, inventory etc.), market trends, and pricing strategies to optimize revenue, improve profitability, and enhance our competitive position. The Commercial Operation Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional and local markets across Vision teams to develop and execute revenue-enhancing strategies and ensure efficient commercial operations.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

  • Data analysis and insights: For the prioritized RGM pillar within regional RGM framework (i.e., pricing, distributor margin, SLOB etc.), conduct in-depth analysis of relevant data (sales, inventory, margin etc.) pricing structures, and historical performance across the region to provide data-driven insights for revenue growth strategies
  • Project management and RGM tool development: to support APAC Com Ops Lead on key regional projects within RGM framework to improve profitability (i.e., RFID assessment and implementation, RGM tool development - i.e., dashboard, data analytical platform etc.) to enable better data analytics and visibility for effective decision making)
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration and Market-Level Execution: For the prioritized RGM pillar (using Consignment and SLOB as an example), work with Com Ops Lead to develop target, drive governance, build/enhance tools and optimize performance through cross functional and local market execution (monthly cadence with local DRIs to drive performance improvement)
  • RGM framework education and capability build: Build relevant material and dedicate time to educate stakeholder (regional and local market teams) on Revenue Growth Management (RGM) frameworks, principles, and best practices, with a focus on regional and local-level application
  • Other Commercial Operation and Strategic Project Support: Support Com Ops Lead based on upcoming events impacting regional operations (i.e., project Laguna, strategic partnership programs etc.)
  • Other Duties: Data governance of key RGM KPIs (pricing etc.), Performance Metrics tracking, Market Research, Stakeholder Management
Required Qualifications

Required Minimum Education: Bachelor\'s degree

Required Years of Related Experience:

Minimum 5 years of relevant commercial or finance experience in the industry

Minimum 2 years of commercial operations experience

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Proven experience in revenue growth management, pricing analysis, or related roles.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, data visualization).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
  • Deep understanding of financial P&Ls and profitability management
  • Knowledge of market dynamics and pricing strategies within the industry is a plus
