ABOUT THE ROLE

• Regional Commercial Retail Analyst is a newly created role based in Singapore, to support the strategic insight and business performance priorities for both Consumer and Prestige Beauty.
• This role is a trusted business partner to the South East Asia Affiliate & Asia Distributor markets teams to manage the retail and commercial business in all its present channels from the key parameters pricing, sell in/ sell out, margin, productivity, fill rate, trade inventory, launch performances and other retail KPIs for all channels, retailers, and markets.
• To ensure alignment to the regional strategic business priorities, the role will have a matrix (dotted line) reporting line into the regional business intelligence & commercial excellence team.
• The role requires a person who not only understands the business and data but is also able to provide insights and analysis through clear visual, written, and verbal communication.

• Analyses and reviews monthly business performance & quarterly market performances by channel, market, door, brands
• Manages and updates the SEA reporting and sales dashboards on PowerBI/ TEAMS
• Monthly and adhoc reporting by collating market, business, and internal business best practice to share with APAC and Global team
• Works closely with business to help answer any questions that cannot be answered through existing reports and dashboards in areas related to our sales such as sell-out, orders, trade inventory, pricing, etc serving internal audiences (commercial and brand organization, customer service, supply chain, business intelligence)
• Monitors orders, promotional plans, margin, pricing across South East Asia & Distributor Markets for Coty’s own brands and key competitor brands
• Monitors grey market movements and supports VP sales in controlling grey market activities
• Works closely together with Asia Pacific and Global Strategic Revenue Management – Pricing teams with regards to set up and maintaining SEA pricing database, review and sign off annual pricing for catalogue and quarterly sign off NPD and gift set pricing in close collaboration with SEA markets
• Identifies opportunities to improve standard reports and dashboards and works with internal stakeholders to plan, implement, and roll out these solutions.

• Similar experience in a commercial (or professional / consulting) set up, preferably in the beauty or FMCG industry
• High attention to detail
• Solution finder with a love for data and insights
• Excellent communicator (both verbally and in writing), can interpret data in a visual, written, and verbal way of communication
• Strong organizational and project management skills, familiar with managing process flow and global reporting
• Systems experience in ERP (SAP) and Business Intelligence Tools (Power BI)
• Agility in managing relationships with senior management
• High levels of collaboration and with a strong teamwork ethic
