As a Commis Chef, you will prepare and cook high-quality dishes while maintaining consistency and upholding the highest culinary standards.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of exquisite dishes according to menu specifications, incorporating elements of Japanese and French cooking techniques.
Monitor inventory levels, ensuring ingredient freshness and minimizing waste through proper stock control.
Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards, following proper procedures for food handling, storage, and sanitation.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to enhance operations, contributing ideas for menu development, cost control, and process optimization.
Take initiative in skill development opportunities and open to additional tasks that provide restaurant operations.
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year experience in a full-service restaurant
Passion for cooking and delivering high quality food
Food Safety and Hygiene certification
