Seated conveniently right above City Hall MRT station, we are located within Raffles City Shopping Centre. It is never a dull day within the hotel complex which consists of 13 Food and Beverage establishments, one of AsiaaEUR(TM)s largest and award-winning Willow Stream Spa and the cutting edge event and function space, Raffles City Convention Centre.

Commis Cook, Pastry

Summary of Responsibilities:

The main responsibilities and tasks of this position are as listed below, but not limited to these:

• Maintain daily mis-en-place and prepare ingredients
• Inspect and clean food preparation areas, to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices
• Ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparation
• Keep up to date with the new products, recipes and preparation techniques
• Have full knowledge of all menu items, daily highlights and promotions
• Adhere to recipes and stock management
• Adjust cooking based on guest preferences

Qualifications:

• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
• Minimum of 1 year in basic culinary position, preferably in similar operations style
• Knowledge of different culinary techniques
• Certificate in Culinary, preferred
