About the Position:
As a Commissioning Engineer, Navy Automation, your work will focus on these responsibilities:

  • Participating in design and Engineering of naval automation systems including documentation, e.g. functional descriptions, test protocols.
  • Testing systems, sub systems and functionalities during engineering period, Commissioning /service of automation
  • Facilitating technical solutions, including support for Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) documentation.
  • Participating in internal project status and milestone reviews.
  • Following the (customer specific as well as internal) quality and security procedures.
  • Facilitating and Participating inhouse equipment FAT, and supplier equipment FAT.
  • Providing advice on design change when problems are observed.
  • Performing Navy vessel Automation product commissioning, test, and trials. (also overseas, if required)
  • Assisting other team members as required and promptly resolve Quality/Design issues.
  • Supporting stakeholder management, of external and internal stakeholders.
  • Keeping the confidentiality especially related to Naval contracts.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
  • Diploma/BSc. in a relevant specialization, e.g. electrical, electronic or software engineering, focusing on Operational Technology (OT) systems.
  • Min 3 years of working experience in the marine or OT industry.
  • General Cyber security knowledge
  • Network knowledge
  • Knowledge of OT Interface communication protocols, e.g. MODBUS RTU, MODBUS TCP/IP, CANBUS IEC61162-1, -2, -450
  • IEC 61131-3 Standard programming languages
  • General understanding of Platform equipment functionality (Valves, Pumps, switch gear and etc. )
  • Skilled in design tools such as AutoCAD, Eplan, Solidworks etc.
  • Good interpersonal skills, teamwork, and organizational skills.
  • Fluent English (communicate effectively in writing and verbally)
  • Ability to travel overseas.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
