DESCRIPTIONThe Commissioning Program Manager (CxP) provides direction of all commissioning process aspects of AWS data center projects from initial engagement through Power and Facilities Hand Over to the client, will drive the development and standardization of all the commissioning documents, finalize and review test procedures, test protocols, means and methods. CxP will review project submittals for consistency with the design intent, basis of design and the owner\'s project requirements, and maintain overall responsibility for commissioning scripts accuracy and completeness at the program level. The CxP will drive the planning of all commissioning levels for the mission critical facilities.RESPONSIBILITIES
- Development of electrical and mechanical Functional Performance Test procedures and Factory Acceptance Test Procedures.
- Development and review of equipment startup documents and installation checklists
- QA/QC of all pre-functional test results, completeness and accuracy, test results interpretation.
- Provide input and insight to the overall commissioning plan.
- Coordinate with project and client engineers to evaluate criticality and consequences of issues identified during testing.
- Develop and / or review all multi-discipline Integrated Systems Testing and commissioning documents to ensure they are compliant with the basis of design, specifications and standards of the project. It is the CxP responsibility to ensure that all commissioning procedures follow the appropriate safety practices, policies and procedures. He or she enthusiastically participates in all project and company safety programs.
- Program level oversight and coordination of multi-discipline division of work related to pre-commissioning and commissioning of Amazon critical infrastructure construction and special projects.
- Provides multi-discipline input into the scheduling, designing and planning of projects.
- Audit of commissioning activities continuously to ensure compliance with environmental, quality, and safety requirements.
- Communicates with the Cx Global and Regional Managers to ensure commissioning documents are created in accordance with applicable industry standards and AWS commissioning requirements.
- Communicates with Regional and Global Construction and Engineering managers to create team alignment and improve our customer experience.

- Knowledge of data center and mission critical design concepts.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical and controls schematics and diagrams.
- Knowledge of safety standards requirements.
- Have a strong Technical and Working knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical plant and services supporting mission critical Data Center environments. Including MV & LV Distribution Switchgear, Automatic Transfer Schemes, Standby Generators, UPS, Chillers, CRAC\'s/CRAH\'s, ancillary mechanical cooling systems plant, and system Automation & Monitoring.
- Experience visualizing data for senior level audiencesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Ability to work with the Data Center Engineering Teams Leadership, for the purposes of developing test scripts and protocols to ensure validation of the design intent.
- Familiar with electrical or mechanical technical standards.
- Knowledge of financial aspects of contracting business, program build reporting, metrics reporting.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, Outlook and Visio required; advanced knowledge of Tableau, SharePoint or similar.
- Advance knowledge of both mechanical and electrical systems commissioning, strong business analyst knowledge
- Previous experience in working in Commissioning Program Management role, consultancy or similar role in data center construction business.
- Advance knowledge of mechanical or electrical control systems.
- Advanced knowledge of mechanical or electrical systems design.
- Able to travel up to 50% of time to installation sites throughout North America, Asia Pacific and EMEA supporting existing and new Data Center facilities worldwide.
- Good written and spoken communication skills.
