Carry out full commissioning activities for our Waterjet and Control system. This will include installation assistance and checks, setting up of control system, acceptance trials and training of crew/support staff.
Assist with interfacing with third party equipment\xe2\x80\x99s, (engine, gearbox, Dynamic Positioning, Autopilot System interfaces, Monitoring systems and etc.)
Perform system servicing and overhauling as required.
Complete commissioning reports in a timely manner and update the progress/project logs.
Provide both on site and remote technical support.
Ensure that the product support related to areas of the complaints and the warranty system is properly managed with records maintained.
Advise customers as required in line with the product manuals and operating procedures.
Fault finding activities as required.
Ensure that all complaints, engineering change requests and day-to-day technical queries are recorded and prioritised.
Provide technical information and advice on installations.
Provide training to distributors and customers for the range our Marine Propulsion system and control systems.
This hybrid role includes full vessel commissioning/servicing of Waterjet system along with Electronic/Mechanical Control systems, system fault finding on board vessels, offering remote support and assistance as necessary, emergency vessel failure support and vessel inspections
Qualifications:
Will require frequent travel to site locally and overseas, and in some instances at short notice, for installation, commissioning, servicing, fault finding and troubleshooting for control systems on board vessels.
Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Marine), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent.

At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Ability to maintain and develop constructive relationship with external and internal clients, distributors and operators.
