Commodity Manager ($7000 $8000/aws/vb)

Job Description
$8K + AWS + VB + allowance
5 working days, Mon - Fri, normal office hours
Location: North
Responsibilities
- Review suppliers\' prices to RFQs and submit most competitive prices.
- Oversee the supplier selection, audit and qualification processes.
- Develop commodity strategies and create and maintain a preferred world-class supplier base.
- Ensure preferred suppliers\' performance exceed the quality, delivery, cost and support requirement.
- Keep abreast of manufacturing technology updates, Industrial benchmark and do cost competitive studies.
- Consolidate company requirements, develop cost reduction plans and drive quarterly / yearly supplier price negotiation.
- Performs supplier risk analysis and recommend alternate sources.
- Support new project introduction in price and supplier base for transfer to site.
- Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering/Materials Management or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of ERP/SAP is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
