Job Description

You will support and coordinate public engagement and other external communications functions for the development of Phase 2 of Singapore's iconic used water infrastructure, the Deep Tunnel Sewerage System. To be completed by 2025, this project will see the construction of 40km of deep tunnels, 60 km of links sewers, the Tuas Water Reclamation Plant (TWRP) and integrated NEWater factory as well as a co-located Integrated Waste Management Facility (IWMF). You will join the Black & Veatch and AECOM joint venture team, the lead consultant and program manager for the project and work closely with the client, PUB to help manage contractors' PROs to oversee consistent, timely and effective communication to the public. The candidate should have a passion for engaging communities and should possess experience in reputation and stakeholder management, social and traditional media, development of marketing communications collateral including multimedia.Principal Duties & Accountabilities: Provide support on stakeholder engagement activities, ensuring positive reputation for the Project and minimise any impact on the timeline; Manage Contractors' PROs (tunnel and link sewers) work and deliverables to ensure consistency in messaging and adheres to the overall public engagement objectives and standards including timely handling of public queries; Coordinate and implement public engagement activities and events, working closely with the client's project and communications teams; Develop marketing and communications collateral such as presentations, news releases, newsletters, brochures, social media and videos including managing third-party vendors to deliver high quality deliverables; Event management for key project-wide events, from procuring and appointment of third-party vendors to production and execution of events; Ensure Project companies' branding and compliance requirements are met as well as the client's and Project's standards are also met by other contractors during the course of the Project. Applies standard brand guidelines, and proactively identifies errors and inconsistencies in brand application beyond the current task at hand; Management of shared project management information system and ensure proper recording and archiving of key project milestones through photography and videography.Requirements: Degree in related field preferred, or equivalent experience; 5 years' experience in corporate communications, community engagement and/or related media roles within a corporate, government or consultancy setting; Related industry experience (construction or engineering) or experience working closely with or in Singapore's public sector will be an advantage; Strong knowledge in marketing/communications/community engagement concepts; Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, comfortable with social media as well as good writing and content creation skills.
