The communications executive will take on responsibilities including supporting our internal and external communications strategy, writing and disseminating publicity material such as press releases, responding to inquiries from the public and media, and supporting ADDX spokespersons at speaking opportunities. This person will also contribute creative ideas to the overall PR plan and support crisis communications efforts.


Responsibilities:
  • Executing ADDX\xe2\x80\x99s PR strategy through corporate announcements, creative campaigns and proactive storytelling.
  • Maintain and grow the company\xe2\x80\x99s relationships with journalists, as well as handle crisis communications.
  • Profile key spokespersons and create thought leadership content for earned or paid channels.
  • Respond to media inquiries, arrange interviews, and support ADDX spokespersons during such opportunities.
  • Carry out media monitoring to ensure a timely awareness of mainstream and social media stories about the company, its competitors and the broader sector.
  • Analyse and report on media coverage and devise plans to optimize against learnings.
  • Help with appropriate agency identification, pitch management, agency negotiations, ongoing agency management (project basis and retainer), tool identification, tool negotiation, tool management and reporting.
  • Identify key industry awards, prepare award submissions, pitch to conferences and support spokespersons for panels, conferences and webinars.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in communications, journalism, or related field.
  • 1 year of relevant experience in a communications or journalism role.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, as well as time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
  • Journalism or PR experience is a plus.
  • Finance or startup experience is a plus.
  • Event management experience is a plus.
