Job Description

Job Summary We are looking for a self-driven communications executive to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities include the development and implementation of marketing, communications and branding strategies to spread awareness about Caregivers Alliance Limited's (CAL) programmes and services and deliver on our vision and mission.Responsibilities

• Works closely with the Head of Communications to develop written materials and content for CAL's internal and external comms channels including social media, newsletters, press releases, annual report, presentations, website and corporate collaterals.
• Attend programme graduations to identify storytelling opportunities.
• Support the planning, organisation and execution of fundraising, corporate and staff events.
• Build and maintain relationships with strategic partners and identify opportunities for collaboration.
• Build relationships with key media contacts and identify opportunities to proactively pitch stories as appropriate.
• Ensure corporate identity and branding is maintained and adhered to across all forms of media both internally and externally.
• Ensure databases are kept up-to-date.

Job Requirements

• Excellent writing and copywriting skills, good presentation skills.
• Strong command of written and spoken English and Mandarin (for producing content in Mandarin) with ability to do translation work an added advantage.
• Ability to be proactive, responsive, detail-oriented and demonstrate good judgment.
• IT Savvy, in-tune with digital economy and familiar with managing digital platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, design, photo and video editing skills an asset.
• Good event organisation and planning skills.
• A team player who is mature, meticulous, dedicated, enjoys challenges and able to multi-task.

Preferred achievements / characteristics:

• Degree in Communications or related discipline with a minimum of 1-3 years of relevant working experience; knowledge and experience in communications / media relations.
• Experience in the social sector preferred.
• A keen interest to serve the mental health community and boost mental health literacy.
