Role Overview

We're looking for Community AI Tutoring Interns--energetic, empathetic individuals who can engage children, parents, and educators. This role blends facilitation, light technical know-how, and a lot of heart. You'll help ensure our AI Tutor isn't just a tool, but a companion in a child's learning journey.

Key Responsibilities

Facilitate group and one-on-one mentoring sessions using the KiteSense AI Tutor. Motivate and guide children in exploring lessons, building confidence and curiosity. Support parents, teachers, and community organisers in adopting the AI Tutor. Create simple activity guides, FAQs, and family-friendly tips. Collect feedback and stories from the field to improve our programme. Participate in outreach events or workshops introducing the AI Tutor to new communities.

Requirements

Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Education, Data Science, Learning Sciences, Business, or a related field. Outgoing and comfortable engaging with children, parents, and educators. Passionate about education and curious about how AI can support learning. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with patience and empathy. Organised, reliable, and proactive in completing tasks. Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.

Nice-to-Haves

Experience in tutoring, mentoring, or leading youth/community activities. Familiarity with AI, adaptive learning platforms, or learning analytics. Familiarity with educational technology or learning platforms. Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia, Malay, or Mandarin for regional engagement.
