Introduction
AltLayer Network is a runtime execution and elastic scaling layer for all blockchains. AltLayer equips both EVM and non-EVM chains (e.g., Polkadot and Terra) with on-demand EVM/WASM execution layer. To handle surge requests on L1s/L2s, AltLayer enables dApps to quickly spin off custom execution layer (flash layers) to serve users, with near-instant finality(< 2s), low gas fees (< 0.01USD) and high throughput(~2,000 tps).

We are actively looking for top talents to join our fast-growing team and together shape the future of decentralized technologies and infrastructure. As AltLayer Network's Community Manager, you will be an integral part of the marketing team, and will create and lead the community strategy to foster brand awareness and build trust in our ecosystem. You will be responsible for engaging and managing our online presence spanning multiple channels (Discord, Reddit and Telegram) to offline activities such as hosting and attending meetings, conferences and events to grow and develop a strong AltLayer community.
Responsibilities

• Events and Hackathons: Plan and run a regular event schedule for developer and non-technical communities, including meetups, workshops, conferences, hackathons.
• Regional communities: Manage and grow a healthy community across our social channels and geographies including Discord, Reddit and Telegram.
• Ambassador Program: Build and nurture a community advocate program and related campaign to build brand passion and awareness for AltLayer
• Relationship building: Be the main point of contact and build strong 1:1 relationships with key stakeholders and contributors to advocate for the AltLayer brand
• Strategy and optimization: Monitor, measure, and report on the success of community growth and engagement metrics

• Proven experience working in crypto community building and management
• Experience with community chat platforms and channels (Discord, Reddit, forums...)
• Experience creating and leading community initiatives like AMAs, ambassador programs, advocacy programs, etc.
• Familiarity with the decentralized technology space, as well as open source communities (or at least a strong interest!)
• Strong English language skills, both written and spoken. Other languages are a plus.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and a self-starter
