Position Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and driven Community Manager to lead our efforts in building and nurturing a thriving community around our brand. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of community dynamics, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to create and maintain a positive and inclusive environment for our community members. You understand that customers are people first, and can work to expand our reach in creative ways.
Key Responsibilities:


  • Community Development:
  • Develop and implement a community strategy that aligns with the company\xe2\x80\x99s goals and values.
  • Create and manage online and offline communities that encourage engagement, knowledge sharing, and a sense of belonging among members.

2. Engagement and Interaction:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for community members, responding to inquiries, comments, and feedback in a timely and empathetic manner.
  • Encourage discussions, interactions, and collaboration among community members.
  • Monitor community channels and social media for trends and discussions relevant to the brand.

3. Content Creation:
  • Conceptualise and curate content that resonates with the community and encourages participation.
  • Organise and promote events and content that educate and entertain community members.

4. Moderation and Conflict Resolution:
  • Maintain a safe and respectful community environment by moderating discussions and addressing inappropriate behaviour.
  • Resolve conflicts and disputes within the community while upholding community guidelines.

5. Feedback Gathering:
  • Collect and analyse feedback from the community to provide valuable insights to the company.
  • Use feedback to influence product development, marketing strategies, and customer support improvements.

6. Data Analysis:
  • Analyse community data and metrics to assess the success and engagement of the community.
  • Report on community growth and performance to the leadership team.

7. Advocacy and Ambassador Programs:
  • Identify and nurture community advocates and ambassadors to promote the brand and its values.
  • Collaborate with advocates to create advocacy programs and reward systems.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Community Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and community management tools.
  • A deep understanding of online community dynamics and trends.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Empathy and a strong customer-centric focus.
