MD Pharmaceuticals Pte Ltd is now seeking to hire:

• Company Accountant / Accounts Executive

Main Responsibilities:

• Responsible for full set of financial accounts, including Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) for the company and its affiliates
• Provide accurate, complete and timely monthly account closing
• Handle employee payroll, CPF, petty cash and reimbursements
• Review and file GST, corporate income tax, etc.
• Provide regular and reliable financial reports for management (e.g.: Cashflow, Balance Sheet, Revenue and Expenses, etc.)
• Analysis of financial data to provide insights relevant to business cost and strategy
• Manage the company\xe2\x80\x99s relationship with customers and suppliers, especially when it concerns payment monitoring and follow-up as well as other financial aspects
• Ensure company\xe2\x80\x99s financial framework and processes have adequate and effective controls in place, and are in line related accounting standards
• Work with external auditors and tax authorities for annual financial reporting
• Assist with certain administrative matters whenever required
  

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent from a reputable university
• ACCA certified
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience in Singapore handling full set of accounts, with strong knowledge of local accounting standards
• Preferably also with exposure to accounting standards for regional business (especially Malaysia and Thailand)
• Tech-savvy and highly proficient in SAP and Microsoft Excel (including Pivot Tables, etc.)
• Meticulous with great attention to details and monitoring skills
• Have strong sense of own initiative, highly independent and resourceful
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to propose feasible solutions to management
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and also deal with customers/suppliers whenever necessary
• Candidate must already be living/working in Singapore currently
