Competence Development Specialist, Industry, SG, Hybrid

What is the job about?

Implement competence development to support the industry commercial priorities, SBTI (Science Based Target Index) focus and end-user customer journey. Develop, facilitate, and supervise deployment of training programs for APAC Industry, including channel partners and customers based on the strategic capabilities needed

Your main responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overall Competency Building initiatives in IND APAC region
  • Work with HR to communicate and support the implementation of Annual Competency Gap Analysis. Provide feedback to project team on behalf of APAC based on user experience or expertise into the Competency by job role
  • Match available learning resource with Competency Gap Analysis and identify learning needs that lack of established learning solution can calling for further support from Global BD Competency Development team, HR or other teams.
  • Support regional and area management team to identify annual learning plan for team and employees. Work with HR to make sure a good integration with PDD (Performance and Development Dialogue) process.
  • Assist managers or training organizers to assign must-have learnings to targeted trainees according to learning plan. Provide support to track the completions and send out regular report to leadership team.
  • Support to organize and track pre and post training evaluation according to learning plan. Measure impact on business through measurable KPI\'s in conjunction with Human Resources.
  • Based on business goals and Competency Gap Analysis result, work with Global Competency Development team, HR or other functions to conduct new learning solution development, including but not limited to New Training Course design and implementation.
  • Work with Global Competency Development team and HR to promote the learning platform and share best practice as super users.
  • Project manager of APAC Elite training program. Ensure the program design and implementation according to plan.
  • Ambassador of Commercial Excellence tools including but not limited to MRR (My Responsibilities Report), Win/Grow Meeting etc. Contribute to the introduction and promotion with the regional team.
  • Other tasks assigned by manager
Your background:

We imagine that you have:
  • Most likely to have 2 to 3 of relevant work experience before entering level besides formal education.
  • Engineering background is beneficial
  • Background in deployment of learning materials and training programs.
  • Proven results supporting key training initiatives in a large organization; experience in large manufacturing environment is advantage.
  • Experience with most common training platforms and systems.
