The Compliance Associate will support our regulatory compliance function at Genesis Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. and ensure that all regulatory requirements from Singapore/APAC perspective are factored in. Primary Responsibilities Perform compliance monitoring and surveillance activities Contributing to the compliance processes by identifying opportunities for improved adherence to regulatory requirements and company standards Develop and execute project plans to address remediation efforts and testing review findings, which may include process updates, documentation and/or training Assess training needs, develop compliance training material, and monitor completion of required training by the employees Develop strong working relationships with Audit, Risk and other relevant business lines Work with Compliance staff in Singapore and London to ensure compatibility and cohesion with firmwide policies and procedures Proactively identify potential obstacles and issues and resolve efficiently and effectively Keep abreast of MAS regulatory developments, and monitor the company's compliance to these requirements Other adhoc duties across Compliance Department, as they arise Requirements Bachelor's degree in Law/Accounting/Finance or related discipline. Advanced degree preferred At least 3- 5 years' experience in regulatory Compliance Quick learner who can adapt well to a fluid regulatory and business environment.
