Oversee the strategy and implementation of the governance, risk, and compliance program that operates to identify internal control weaknesses and regulatory and legal risks. . Develop, review and conduct risk assessment of policies, procedures, and processes to align with the overall business strategy and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. . Provide regular updates and feedback to management regarding the design and operation of the compliance program, key risks, and effectiveness of compliance programs. . Work collaboratively across all the operations to help improve the Company's risk management and provide ongoing compliance advisory and support to operations on new regulatory developments. . Identify, propose, and implement appropriate solutions and compliance assurance systems to facilitate compliance and oversight functions. . Appointed as the Data Protection Officer (DPO), lead and guide a committee on the implementation of data protection initiatives to obtain and maintain the PDPC Trustmark certification and requirements. . Manage audits and inspections from external parties and ensure findings are remediated appropriately and timely. Provide regulatory compliance training for staff. . Ad hoc responsibilities when required Requirements A successful candidate must be hands-on and proactive in driving governance, risk, and compliance initiatives. He/she must also: . Possess a Bachelor's Degree or other equivalent professional qualifications with at least 7 years of relevant experience in compliance, operation risk control, or audit. A good understanding of PDPA is a must. . Critical and strategic thinking, ability to provide sound judgments in challenging situations, and being assertive as needed. . Excellent understanding of risk management, internal controls, and governance (consultancy experience will be an advantage). . Experience and comfortable working directly with senior management and able to communicate effectively with all levels. .
