Job Description

: 1. Review the functions policies for compliance issues, implement and maintain effective compliance framework, policies and internal controls for adherence to MAS requirements. 2. Perform investigations and review suspicious transactions/ alerts. Carry out proper escalations and file Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) with relevant authorities as necessary. 3. Monitor and maintain enterprise-wide risk assessment procedures and AML/CFT & KYC checks on a continual and timely basis. 4. Develop internal controls and policies to ensure all compliance needs across all spheres of activity in the company are met. 5. Guide management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines; communicating and enforcing organization values. 6. Keeping studying existing and new legislation, abreast on all regulatory updates and complies legal requirements to advise business lines and management on needed actions. 7. Any assign duties which related to licensing.

Requirement: 1. At least 3 to 7 years of compliance experience in a financial institution and holds minimally a Bachelor Degree in Law /Finance/Compliance or any other equivalent qualifications. 2. AML accredited from a recognised institution, ACAMS or ICA. 3. Experience with local regulations and sound understanding of Payment Service Act, and KYC/CFT regulations is required. 4. Experience and background in AML program implementation in Payment and Remittance and fintech environment have an added advantage. 5. Strong verbal and written communication capabilities and is driven with agile problem-solving skills that thrives in ambiguous environment independently. 6. Familiar with Accuity Screening Software is a plus.
