Develop and oversee control systems to prevent or deal with violations of legal guidelines and internal policies
Develops, implements and manages the Quality Management System for the Company, ensuring it conforms to internal, customer, ISO, regulatory and legal requirements.
Evaluate the efficiency of controls and improve them continuously
Revise procedures, reports etc. periodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues
Draft, modify and implement company policies
Collaborate with corporate counsels and HR departments to monitor enforcement of standards and regulations
Assess the business\xe2\x80\x99s future ventures to identify possible compliance risks
Review the work of colleagues when necessary to identify compliance issues and provide advice or training
Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control
Prepare reports for senior management and external regulatory bodies as appropriate
Responsible for relations with the authorities that regulate the company\'s activities, monitors their relations, produces annual dossiers updating and reporting on the activities carried out and on future events
Qualification and Requirement
At least degree in law, finance, business management, or a related field
At least 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 proven experience in a compliance officer role with good knowledge of legal requirements and procedures ideally within the trading/FMCG industry
In-depth knowledge of the industry\xe2\x80\x99s standards and regulations
A business acumen partnered with a dedication to legality
An analytical mind able to \xe2\x80\x9csee\xe2\x80\x9d the complexities of procedures and regulations
Excellent communication skills
Well-versed in legal guidelines and corporate governance best practices
